An Apprentice Install Electrician at Hero is responsible for assisting in the troubleshooting, installations, repairs, and maintenance of residential electrical systems. Candidates who will thrive in this role enjoy delivering a world class customer experience and providing amazing craftsmanship. They are also great at training on the job and taking direction from a Lead Installer to improve their skills. They will also be motivated to reach and surpass goals and expectations set in the role.

Hours and Compensation

• 7am-4pm (Last dispatch by 4pm), Monday thru Friday
• Overtime is offered by management when available, and may at times be required
• 35-45 hours per week based on hourly pay as negotiated upon hire
• Pay increases are given based upon performance and meeting metrics, not based on time employed

Essential Job Duties

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, repair, and service of electrical systems in a residential setting
• Follow direction from jobsite lead
• Complete work in a timely manner while maintaining quality service and craftmanship
• Adhere to Hero safety standards while driving and on jobsites
• Adhere to Hero driving policy
• Maintain company provided vehicle and inventory of parts, fixtures, tools and shop equipment
• Deliver materials and equipment from warehouse to jobsites on time

Qualifications

• Demonstrates Hero core values at a high level (T.R.U.E.)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving and criminal record
• Must be actively pursuing journeyman licensing
• Must be able to regularly lift 50+ pounds
• Able to communicate professionally, clearly, and concisely with other team members, management, and customers
• Demonstrates the ability to learn residential electrical system repair
• Must be highly detailed and demonstrate the ability to follow through
• Participate actively in all trainings, meetings, classes, and company events
• Highly motivated, flexible, and great attitude on life
• On time and prepared to work before the scheduled start time
